Irish Libyan School (ILS) (First established in 2024 in Benghazi) is underpinned by the core values of Excellence in Education,
Care, Equality, Community, and Respect.

In ILS all pupils are encouraged to make the most of their academic abilities. Standards are high and we encourage all our students to explore and discover their strengths so that they can learn with confidence. Alongside the Libyan curriculum, we offer subjects authenticated by the Department of Education and Skills in Ireland so our pupils are educated in a wide range of skills, knowledge, and disciplines.

Our distinctive school caters to all children from infants to sixth class. We have been very fortunate to engage an innovative, highly dedicated,
and enthusiastic team of teachers.

The vision of ILS is to create a caring, calm, and safe child-centred environment, a learning space where each child is welcomed, respected, and cherished, and a place where a deep sense of belonging, empathy, and respect for others is championed.
